Not only has he directed five of the best and most entertaining films of the last twenty years - Rushmore, The Royal Tenenbaums, The Life Aquatic with Steve Zissou, Fantastic Mr. Fox, Moonrise Kingdom - but he is also an undeniable style icon. I can’t wait to see Bottle Rocket, The Darjeeling Limited, his short films and the upcoming release The Grand Budapest Hotel. Happy 44th, Wes!

happy birthday, Jude Law - he’s been great in many very different kinds of TV shows/movies/roles: a 1991 episode of “The Case-Book of Sherlock Holmes,” I Heart Huckabees, The Aviator, as the narrator of Lemony Snicket’s A Series of Unfortunate Events, Sherlock Holmes, Contagion, Hugo and Sherlock Holmes: A Game of Shadows. Despite his sometimes confusing hairline and fashion choices (see exhibits A and B), I like him. Happy 40th, Jude!
