Home of the all-around movie/book/TV/music geek girl. 19 years old; college major in Film and English with a minor in Art History. Big fan of Harry Potter, Doctor Who (and - to a lesser extent - Torchwood), House, Law & Order (all kinds), Pushing Daisies, Freaks and Geeks, Lost, Grimm, Jane Eyre, The Office, Lord of the Rings, Sherlock, Life on Mars/Ashes to Ashes, movies by Christopher Nolan, analyzing movies via a blog (http://theironcupcake.wordpress.com) and many other awesome things. Special affinity for the various Harry Potter actors, Doctor Who actors, Guy Pearce, Christian Bale, Ralph Fiennes, Ed Helms, Tom Hiddleston, Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Sam Rockwell and Ryan Gosling, among others. And I think I'm an INTJ, if you know about MBTI.

The Lord of The Rings: The Two Towers- Evenstar

I do believe this is the best music in any of the LOTR films. The score, the scene… all perfection.

Easily some of my favorite movies ever. I sat down and watched all 10+ ish hours in one go. It’s great way to kill an afternoon.

happy birthday, Andy Serkis - besides his brilliant motion capture work in the Lord of the Rings trilogy, King Kong and Rise of the Planet of the Apes, Andy gave an excellent live-action performance as the creepy Rigaud in “Little Dorrit.” Happy 48th, Andy!

happy birthday, Lee Pace - I’ll love him forever for being Ned, the piemaker hero of “Pushing Daisies.” He was also terrific in Ceremony (great British accent!), The White Countess, the short Polarbearman and a 2002 episode of SVU. Altogether an extremely adorable guy. I can’t wait for his performances in Lincoln and the two Hobbit films!

ghghnnnNNNNNNGH WHO IS HE IN THE HOBBIT

King Thranduil =) aka the father of Legolas!

happy birthday, Sean Astin - of course I love him in LOTR (even after all these years, I think of the “potatoes” line from The Two Towers), but I also grew up being a fan of The Goonies.
